The friendliess of the staffs made up a little for the no so clean room

Cleanliness. Room is dirty, cigarette burned marks on curtains & sofa. Room smell like cigarettes. Bath room is dirty, shower curtain is dirty. The water cooler in the room is old & dirty, water from water dispenser has all kind of residue

Dated, Run Down, but Good Location
The location was great for the purposes of my trip. It is within walking distance to the Jakarta Intercultural School. It is also close to a Starbucks, Grocery Store, and a pretty big shopping mall. Lady at the cake shop was super nice and most of the other staff was great. Breakfast has plenty of options and was pretty good.
There are apparently two wings to the hotel, a new and an old one. We stayed in the old one and it is old. I stayed in two rooms. The first night there were ants on the desk to welcome me. The second room was also old. Shower did not look nice and the room just looks like it has been worn down. Gym was like a sauna, dusty, and not well kept.
